Spring Concert Saturday May 18
Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 1:37PM

The Washington International Chorus will host its spring concert on May 18th at 7:30 pm, at the Universalist National Church at the corner of 16th and S Sts NW in Washington DC.

Our theme this spring is classical music about peace. The chorus will be led by Jerry Kavinski, Artistic Director, with Stephen Bertino as accompanist.

We are premiering our first commissioned piece, OLIVE TREE,  by composer ANNA RUBIN.  She will be present at the concert.  The composition reminds us that though people war with one another, they have shared the olive tree as a source of nourishment thoughout the history of Mediterranean peoples.

Tickets are $15 for adults, $7 for students.  Children under 12 are admitted free.  Tickets may be purchased at the door, or in advance through Paypal.  Go to the Paypal icon on this page to reserve tickets. Parking is limited, so try to arrive by Metro (Red line to Dupont Circle or Green line to U St), or by Uber or Lyft.

For more information, call 202-236-3743.
