Join us for the new season!

The chorus has begun rehearsals for the 2019 Spring season! We rehearse Tuesdays at 7:00 pm. We're preparing a concert on the universal theme of peace, scheduled for Saturday, May 18, 2019. The concert will feature the premier of a new work by renowned composer Anna Rubin, commissioned by the Washington International Chorus. We welcome singers to join us in the new year!


Dec. 14 Winter Concert rounds out '18 season; Spring season starts 1/8/19

The chorus's Winter Concert is on Friday December 14, 2018 at 7:30 pm, at the Universalist National Memorial Church, 1810 16th St NW, Washington DC. You are warmly invited! The concert features music from Eastern European composers, including Chopin and Chesnokov. After the concert, the chorus takes a New Year's break, and will start up with new music for its spring season on Tuesday, January 8, 2019, at 7:00.


Winter Concert Date Announced

The Winter Concert, featuring music of Eastern European composers including Dvorak and Chesnokov, will take place Friday December 14, 2018, at 7:30 pm, at the Universalist Memorial Church, 1810 16th St, NW, Washington DC (corner of S St.)  Accessible by Metro Red, Green, and Yellow lines. Parking available on neighboring streets.


Fall rehearsals begin on Tuesday, September 11, 2018

The Washington International Chorus resumes rehearsals on Tuesday nights beginning September 11th.  We shall be rehearsing for our fall concert in December.  We hope to see everyone from last year and to welcome new chorus members.  Rehearsals are held from 7-9 pm at the Universalist National Church at the corners of S and 16th streets NW in Washington DC.  Parking is limited so take metro if you can to either Dupont Circle or U St and walk several blocks to the church. 


Concert Friday, May 18, 7:30: "Tune Thy Music to Thy Heart" 

We held a wonderful concert of music, with songs from Turkey, India, Argentina, and Estonia, among others at the Capitol Hill United Methodist Church, 420 Seward Square SE, Washington, DC 20003. Tickets were available at the door: $15 General Admission, $7 students, 12 and under, free.
