Spring Concert: A Night at the Opera

The chorus will perform an evening of familiar and less familiar great opera choruses, including works by Purcell, Verdi, and Mozart. 


Washington International Chorus sings at Wolf Trap on Dec 3rd, 2016

We shall sing as part of a massed chorus at Wolf Trap for the annual Holiday Sing-A-Long on Saturday, December 3rd.  The event begins at 4 pm and is free to the public.  Chorus members should be at the stage door by 3 pm, dressed warmly and with an LED candle.

This event is always fun and the Marine band plays.  It is outside and Wolf Trap has plenty of parking but get there early to locate seats or stake out a space on the large lawn.

Love in Many Forms concert May 20th

The Washington International Chorus presents its Spring Concert, Love in Many Forms, at the Church of Christ 945 G St NW in Washington DC (corner of G St and 10th NW in DC) on Friday night May 20th at 7:30 pm.  Reception follows the concert.  The concert features the choral permiere of Toro Nagashi a Japanese piece by Peter Bird the commemorates the victimes of the recent Japanese tsunami.  The piece is based on five poems in the tanka style by 14th century Japanese poets.

Tickets are $12 for adults, $7 for students, and is free for children under 12.Buy in advance through the Paypal button on our website under Donations and tickets or purchase tickets at the door with check or cash.
