Concert May 21st in Bowie, MD

The Washington International Chorus joins the choir from Unity Church of Light in Bowie, MD to sing songs of peace. Selections range from Rossini, Vivaldi and Mozart to modern day appeals for peace. Concert is on Saturday May 21st at 1 pm at the YMCA complex in Bowie. For more information call 202-236-3743. Admission is free.

Concert at National Theatre on April 4th

The Washington National Chorus invites you to our concert in which we will sing songs of peace on Monday April 4th led by our conductor Dimitar Nikolov. We will be joined by singers from the Unity Church of Light Choir in Bowie which our conductor also leads. This concert is the last in a series of Monday night concerts sponsored by the National Theatre.

There will be two performances: the first is at 6 pm and the second is at 7:30. Tickets are free and will be given out on the night of the concert...one ticket per person. Each person must get their own ticket at the main door.

The National Theatre on Pennsylvania Ave is a historic building in downtown Washington DC.

The Washington International Chorus presents a holiday concert on DEC 12th at 3 pm followed by a reception. Location: United Church at the corner of 20th and G Sts NW. Near metro stops are Foggy Bottom or Farragut West. The general public is welcome to attend.

Holiday Concert Dec 5th

The Washington International Chorus will sing with the Unity Choir of Bowie in a joint concert on December 5, 2010 at 1:00 in the afternoon. The concert is at the community center on Moyilan Dr. From Hwy 50 E. toward Annapolis, exit on Hwy 197 and go left at the top of the exit (toward Bowie). On Hwy 450 turn right and go to a left on Moylan Dr. The YMCA community center will be on the right. There is plenty of parking.

Fall Rehearsals

Rehearsals in Washington DC on Tuesday nights begin on September 14, 2010 at the United Church at 20th and G Sts NW. We rehearse from 7-9 pm. Limited parking available. Nearest metros are Farragut West or Foggy Bottom metro. When you face the church, walk up the driveway on the left to the Education Bldg in the back and ring the bell. If you cannot get in, call our administrator at 202-236-3743 and someone will admit you.

An spring evening with the chorus

On Saturday May 15 we will be having a spring celebration at the United Church on the corner of 20th and G Streets NW DC. This is open to any friend or family of the chorus and also anyone interested in finding out more about the group. It will begin at 4:00 pm. The chorus is bringing food and drink. Please join us for good music and fun fellowship!

The chorus sang as strolling carollers during the Middleburg, VA Christmas Parade and Festival in Middleburg, Virginia on December 5, 2009. You could recognize our us by our red neck scarves. Great fun!

Joint Rehearsal

Tuesday September 1, 2009 the Middleburg Chamber Singers will travel into DC to rehearse with the downtown group. Rehearsal begins at 7:00 pm at the United Church,
G Street NW. MCS will meet at the Vienna Metro Station at 6:00 pm to travel into Foggy Bottom together. There will be no rehearsal in Middleburg on Wednesday September 2
